Botanical treasures in the Berggarten
Once Berggarten (Hannover) was a mulberry tree plantation for the Elektor´s silkworm farms. Today it is a treasure house of botanic diversity and a home for exotic plants. The show houses and theme gardens of the Berggarten currently contain 11,000 different plants from different climates, including the largest orchid collection in Europe.
