In the footsteps of Heinrich Heine
Heinrich Heine was one of the most famous and important German poets, writers and journalists of the 19th century, considered one of the last representatives of Romanticism. In 1824 he started hiking from Ilsenburg, a lovely small village in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), along the Ilse, a beautiful mountain stream, up to the Brocken, the highest Mountain in the Harz, which is a low-mountain region in North Germany. The way he walked today is called the Heinrich-Heine-Way. This project contains some impressions of this way along the Ilse and their waterfalls.
